The European Union Contest for Young Scientists is the annual showcase of the best of European and international student scientific achievements and gives students the opportunity to compete with the best of their contemporaries at European level. It takes place in Dublin from the 14th to 19th September 2018, and is open to the public from the 14th to 16th (10am to 4pm). 139 competitors from 38 countries around the world will showcase their amazing work through 90 different projects across ten categories. The 2018 winner of the BTYSTE, Simon Meehan, will represent Ireland at the event.
